Brett Chrystal is a Senior Project Architect in South Africa with over 20 years of experience in architectural design, construction management, business development, client liaison, strategic planning and staff mentoring. He has completed complex projects within the Retail, Hospitality and Mixed-Use Residential sectors, the highlight being the award winning 390 key 5* Johannesburg Marriott Hotel & Executive Apartments. Brett is passionate about sustainable architecture and its impact upon the built environment. He is an Accredited Professional with the Green Building Council of South Africa, and is a founding members of the Mass Timber Focus Group of South Africa.

One of the greatest attributes that people and organisations share within the global mass timber construction sector is unity. Unity is what binds us, helps us to be better, to achieve more together and drive a different future.

Above all else, the mass timber construction sector is special and unique for its diversification for technology, process and methods of working.
